Join us in the spring when the cherry tree blossom heralds the return of the first few warm sunny days along with the tulips, daffodils and forget-me-nots that are popping up everywhere.

Sit out on a sunny day in summer, pick a ripe strawberry, Delphiniums. Hostas and Hollyhocks fill our flower beds with colour, while the peach, plum and pear trees and our resident Mumford grape vine start to flourish in preparation for the fall harvest.

We are backyard bird lovers here at Mumford and besides the many visitors to our feeders throughout the year which include Blue Jays, Downey Woodpeckers, Chickadees and the occasional Flicker we also have our resident family of house sparrows that live in the birdhouse.
